Synopsis

September 2007, Trieste. Fred, an exuberant and courageous 18-year-old from Sweden, arrives in the city to attend the last year of a Technical Institute. She finds herself the only girl in an all-male class and catalyzes everyone’s attention, especially that of three friends: Antero, charming and reserved; Pasini, histrionic seducer; and Mitis, protective good-naturedness. The three have belonged to each other for as long as they can remember. The arrival of Fred upsets their homogeneity, putting their friendship to the test. While each of them secretly desires her for herself, Fred wants to be allowed into the group, but she is continually asked to sacrifice something of herself to become one of them.
